I’m retired U.S. Military living here in Tokyo, Japan. Like many of you, I adore Les Pauls. To the point- I’m noticing that the Greenie Les Paul Standards are really chunky girls…. The two I’ve seen in guitar shops are 4.43kg and 4.51kg. Basically, 9.5-10lb range. The actual Greenie weighed in around 8.9lbs.
If I were to reserve one, it’s a blind buy as well and I could get a heavy axe.

Do you guys see any problem with buying a Greenie at 9.5-10lbs, being we don’t seem to have much of a choice otherwise?
