I didn't like the dude in the mirror on or off the field.
It was the hardest four years of my baseball life over there.
It taught me a lot. I'm really grateful for that.
Met a lot of good people over there. Had a lot of good experiences,
but it brought a lot of challenges.
And I'd be lying if I said that wasn't true.
I wouldn't change anything if I could, but the bottom line is it was hard.
I'm really happy that I can use what I learn now and help this team as much as I can get in the playoffs.”

グラウンド上でもグラウンド外でも、鏡に映る自分が好きになれませんでした。
エンゼルスで過ごした4年間は、野球人生で最も辛い時期でした。
多くのことを学べました。本当に感謝しています。
エンゼルスでたくさんの素晴らしい人たちに出会えました。
たくさんの良い経験もしましたが、同時に多くの困難もありました。
そうでないと言ったら嘘になります。
もし変えられるとしても、何も変えたいとは思いませんが、
結局のところ、大変だったのは事実です。
今、エンゼルスで学んだことを活かして、
プレーオフを狙えるチームに貢献できることを本当に嬉しく思っています。
