Wouldn't philosophy be more fruitful if we discussed it in English?

・By discussing in English, you can get rid of the people (= idiots) who interfere with the discussion by trolling on the board.

・The use of English in discussions on message boards is expected to have the effect of reducing aggressive and emotional exchanges compared to discussions using only the familiar native language of Japanese

・English seems to have a comparative advantage over Japanese when it comes to logical thinking.

・Discussing in English, which is not their native language, allows them to gain objectivity and versatility in concepts.

・Increasing the vocabulary and concepts of the English-speaking world is expected to improve your intelligence.

Now, why don't you start discussing philosophy in English little by little from today?

That's not the point. What I'm talking about here is the disadvantages of discussing in one's native language. It is not surprising that there are foreigners who are more stupid than Japanese. The opposite is also true.

哲学をするためには一度鳥にならなければなりません。
鳥になるとは、風を受けてそれに乗って街に降り立つことなのです。
それは自由ではありますが、決してデタラメには降り立つことができないのです。

「コロナは軽症なら無害」は大嘘

“There are countless variants but only specific ones are tracked or labeled
of interest or concerns,” he says. “Delta Plus is listed as a variant of concern
by the WHO and CDC—under its technical name AY.1—and aggregated with Delta.”

Theoretically, the mutation “could make [Delta Plus] even more infectious
than Delta—and Delta is already highly adept at infecting people,” Dr. Cennimo says.

The tracker on the GISAID website mysteriously showed Lambda in Japan while the authorities refused to confirm.

Last month, a team of researchers at Tokyo University released a report,
not yet peer-reviewed, that found the Lambda variant was highly infectious
and displays detectable resistance to immunity acquired by vaccines.

In Peru, where the variant was first discovered, more than 90 percent of infections are now traced to the Lambda variant. The research team
at Tokyo University believes the variant “has potential to be a threat to human society.”
